Don Rosati created Rosati Specialties to service the needs of the local millworking business. Don recognized that finishing in these smaller shops created a bottleneck in their production, and saw an opportunity to remedy that.
Since its inception, Rosati Specialties has been focused on providing exceptional quality, raising the bar through a system of continuous improvement.
When Rosati Specialties started in 2000, Don contacted Becker Acroma and began using the product lines right away. In the meantime, he was constantly researching and trying the competition’s product line to find a package comparable to what Becker Acroma had to offer. Don says; “…like I do with everything else, I research to make sure we are using the right stuff and we did a full circle all the way back to Becker Acroma’s”.
“When asked, what was the number one thing that the others didn’t offer, he replies “the level and quality of service provided”.
Streamlining the process
From the very beginning, when Rosati Specialties was hand spraying, Don was looking at ways to streamline his process though automation. An in-depth analysis of Rosati’s customer’s needs lead Don to a single roll coat unit. This allowed Rosati to increase through-put and produce a large amount of panels in a short amount of time.
He says that the majority of his business is flat panels, which has allowed him to expand his roll coating abilities to include a one pass line with stain capabilities. Over Rosati Specialties LLC
A true parternship
Becker Acroma project team in the United States Chris Mancuso Sales Representative time he has moved from being primarily millwork focused to expanding to other markets. Don is looking toward the future, expanding his market share while maintaining the company’s commitment to providing the best wood coatings solutions to Rosati’s customers. No doubt, he will accomplish that and Becker Acroma will be there to grow with him. Rosati Specialties relies on the benefits received from the new product development in the UV line of Becker Acroma’s product palette.
