Headquartered in Sweden, Becker Acroma is over 130 years old and is the largest privately held coatings company in the world. Becker Acroma North America has earned a solid reputation for providing high end products that compete in the wood finishing markets. Our proven products perform effectively in wide range of applications and combined with our technical expertise and support, prove to be a winning formula.
We have two production plants that service the North America wood finishing market. One is located in Brantford Ontario, Canada and we have a ‘new’ 25,000 square foot facility that is located near Louisville, Kentucky. Both plants include a research and development laboratory and a fully equipped technical application center along with manufacturing, warehousing, and administration.
In line with the movement to ‘green’ solutions in the industry, the Louisville plant focuses its development and production primarily with water-based and UV coatings.
Becker Acroma owns and operates production plants worldwide producing high end pre-catalyzed, post-catalyzed clear and pigmented finishes, polyurethanes, water-base and UV coatings, stains and exterior finishes in both solvent and water based systems.
